How Spatial Audio Helps Virtual Group Meditations

Why should I care about spatial audio for my virtual group meditations?

Spatial audio is what will allow the end-user to feel as if they are in the meditative space with you. if you incorporate singing bowls, chanting, music, etc., the essence of your environment will translate when your audience uses headphones. Having these types of features is what impacts the difference between them watching your guided meditation, or experiencing your meditation experience. 

Some VR cameras like the Richoh have spatial audio built into them. But even in cases of the cameras with internal microphones, you will still want to add on a dedicated spatial audio microphone to your video production gear. The difference is the ability to capture the low end. Most 360, dedicated live streaming cameras, and even most smartphones will cut out the low end of the audio recording. They can hear and feel the sounds as you do.

These microphones record the psychoacoustic triggering sound waves in a form that mimic subconscious location targeting. With binaural recordings, you can feel as things move around your head.
